About the Founder:

At the heart of Bizthom is Joel Amawhe, an entrepreneur who has walked the talk. With over a decade of experience in sales, marketing, digital strategy, and entrepreneurship, Joel has navigated the highs and lows of building businesses in Africa. He has experienced both failure and success, and through these experiences, he has gained invaluable insights into what it takes to thrive in the African market.

Joel’s journey is a testament to resilience and innovation. He founded myPadi.ng, a student accommodation platform that, despite its eventual closure, taught him critical lessons about market adaptation and customer needs. His venture into Joepath Fitness, which he successfully sold, and the ongoing ventures in Real Estate, & FMCG demonstrates his ability to pivot and succeed in diverse sectors. Now, through Bizthom, Joel and soon his friends is channeling all these lessons to help others avoid common pitfalls and seize opportunities that are uniquely African.

Your role is critical in distilling Joel’s wealth of experience into content that educates, inspires, and empowers entrepreneurs across the continent. You’ll be working directly with Joel to craft content that is not only insightful but grounded in real-world African business experiences.
